Q: Do you fill growlers or sell six packs?
A: Due to TABC regulation, we do not sell six packs or fill growlers. State law only allows us to sell beer for consumption on-premises.
Q: Do you have food today?
A: The Black Forest is open Wednesday through Sunday. Hours are posted on their website and are subject to change. The Black Forest is available for group orders and catering arrangements. Check the menu and call ahead for large groups. Find details on their website. When The Black Forest is not open or if you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring food for yourself. We offer a variety of snacks at the bar, including a variety of locally-made picnic boxes full of meats, cheeses, and vegetable options.
Q: Aunt Mildred doesn’t drink beer. Do you have anything for her to drink?
A: We sell bottled sodas and sparkling water at the bar. Aunt Mildred may bring in a small amount of wine, cider, or as many non-alcoholic beverages as she wishes. We do not allow hard liquor, mixers, or setups. It is our expectation that visitors enjoy Live Oak beers while visiting Live Oak Brewing Company. We reserve the right to ask parties who are not making purchases at the bar to leave.
Q: Where can I smoke?
A: Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Smoking is not allowed in the biergarten areas, and you may be asked to move. Please look for signs and ashcans that designate smoking areas.
Q: Can I get a tour?
A: Brewery tours are not available. Our brewery is a beverage production plant and warehouse. Due to safety and space constraints, only staff may enter the brewhouse and cellar.
