Please note that we do not allow piñatas, balloons, glitter, confetti, or cascarones in the biergarten at any time.

Q: I want to bring a group to the brewery. What do I need to know?

A: We appreciate arrival notice for groups of 20 more and bus tours. Please email the Taproom Manager to let us know to expect you, or for assistance in planning your group event. Check our calendar for upcoming events and the Biergarten rental page for information on hosting an event at Live Oak.

Looking for reliable, affordable transportation for your brew tour? We recommend Fly Rides, Austin’s top-rated party bus, for groups of all sizes. Contact them for a quote today.

Q: Do you allow pets and/or children?

A: Well behaved pets and children are welcome to Live Oak. However, please remember that while we have plenty of room to roam, please be careful and respectful of the property. Furry friends must be leashed and must stay outside. We have water bowls and a water faucet, self serve!

Q: Do you fill growlers or sell six packs?

A: Beer-to-go is now legal in Texas, with some restrictions. We can now sell you 6 packs to go, or fill up a growler for you. TABC restricts beer to go sales at 288oz per customer, per day. That works out to a case of 12oz cans!

Q: Do you have food?

A: The Black Forest is open every day. Hours posted here  are subject to change. The Black Forest is available for group orders and catering arrangements. Check the menu and call ahead for large groups. Find details on their website. When The Black Forest is not open or if you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring food for yourself. We offer a variety of snacks at the bar. Email the chef/owner/operator for group orders and other questions.

Q: My friend doesn’t drink beer. Do you have anything for her to drink?

A: We sell bottled sodas and sparkling water at the bar. You or your friend may bring in a small amount of wine, cider, or as many non-alcoholic beverages as she wishes. We do not allow hard liquor, mixers, or setups. It is our expectation that visitors enjoy Live Oak beers while visiting Live Oak Brewing Company. We reserve the right to ask parties who are not making purchases at the bar to leave.

Q: Where can I smoke?

A: Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.  Smoking is not allowed in the biergarten areas, and you may be asked to move. Please look for signs and ashcans that designate smoking areas.

Q: Can I get a tour?

A: Brewery tours are now available on select Saturdays. Information can be found here

Q: Do you have wifi?

A: Sure do. No password required.
