Packaging Operator
(Part-Time and Full-Time positions available)
Entry-level and experienced Packaging Operators are encouraged to apply!
Assist lead operators throughout the canning run, often doing several tasks at once. Constant attentiveness is required. Equipment operator of all components of the canning line as assigned.
Essential Functions
Maintain a supply of case trays, restock and maintain 6-pack cartons, assist with lids, can pallets, and full pallet stretch wrapping and labeling.
Build pallets of 100 cases of 6 packs by ensuring every 6 pack receives a proper and legible “packaged on date”, then build into cases on a tight alternating pattern secure on a pallet.
Ensure all packaging is placed into inventory, of sales quality, and free of any defects compromising the package quality.
Responsibilities
Set up, break down, and clean all equipment involved in the canning operation as directed by lead operators; occasionally assisting with maintenance during downtime.
All cleaning processes for the canning equipment must be understood and performed proficiently
Operation of keg washers, semi-automated caustic / acid / sani cycles; including keg exterior
Maintaining appropriate levels of chemicals during the cleaning process
Operation of keg filling, brite tank interface, and keg filling QC
Performing CIP and Sanitation Cycles on “Octopus” keg filler.

Sales Representative
Successful applicants will be friendly and professional with a focus on building customer service/relations through efficient delivery of Live Oak beers and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will also be eager to learn about all aspects of the beer industry.
Job Description:
The Sales Representative is an account-level salesperson focused on growing sales within an assigned territory. This position requires flexible hours, daily travel, and occasional weekend events.
Job Qualifications:
High-energy, detail-oriented person needed for a fast-paced, but rewarding position. Must have a pleasant personality, be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and have the ability to communicate well with people.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
Visit and maintain contact with retailers, restaurants, bars by making a minimum of 30 sales calls per day (in person or by phone)
Be thoroughly acquainted with every key decision-maker or decision influencer in accounts.
Search for new draft and package placements while merchandising accounts.
Fulfill needs of retailers as required (i.e., POS, tap handles, sell sheets, etc).
Must maintain a functional vehicle and have a driver’s license
Retailer/ Market Knowledge:
Knowledge of key people at retailer(s)
Develop an understanding for how the following gets done: POS orders, pulling and invoicing of samples, scheduling merchandiser account visits for specialty POS and beer displays, basic policies for handling wholesaler bill backs, receiving monthly sales reports, scheduling time at monthly/quarterly sales meetings and wholesaler compensation.
Develop market profiles and target lists.
Knowledge Needed:
Strong knowledge of Live Oak Brewing Company, its history and its products.
Experience working with Encompass software.
General knowledge of the brewing process and how all Live Oak beers are produced.
Basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous beverage industry experience is required.

Distribution Drivers

Responsibilities and Duties
Customer Service/Sales
Maintain and build Live Oak customer base, both on-premise and off-premise by ensuring customers are ordering correct amounts, making appropriate recommendations to existing customers based on consumption patterns, and maintaining friendly relations with our partners.
Help with all customer needs including technical assistance, product information, display and stock room recommendations as well as organization.
Must communicate with Sales Manager regarding all customer concerns and assist in resolution.
Other duties as assigned.
Delivery/Distribution
Responsible for delivery of Live Oak product to customer accounts.
Responsible for entering all deliveries into sales software.
Must communicate with Sales Manager regarding all distribution/delivery issues.
Maintain/inspect/keep an orderly and clean company vehicle.
Qualifications
Physical abilities – This position is physically demanding. You must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch. You must be able to move kegs weighing up to 165 pounds.
Safe driving record. Able to drive large (non-CDL) trucks.
Good organizational skills and communication skills. Be able to perform basic math functions.
Must be over 21 years of age.
